A day at sea in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez is already exceptional on its own. But it becomes something else entirely when you add an eFoil session above the water, an underwater scooter below the surface or a wakeboard session behind the boat. Octopussy has put together a selection of water toys and nautical activities that turn a great day into an unforgettable one.
eFoil: flying above the water
The eFoil is the standout water toy of the moment in Saint-Tropez. An electric surfboard with a submerged foil that lifts you out of the water in near-total silence. No engine noise, no wake, just the sensation of flying above the surface at speeds of up to 35 km/h. No prior experience is required: most riders achieve lift-off during their very first session. Available as a standalone session from the Quai Claude Meiffret, or on board selected boats in the fleet.
Sublue Navbow: exploring the seabed
The Sublue Navbow is an electric underwater scooter that tows you below the surface without any effort. You hold on, point downwards and the scooter does the rest. Available on board the Numarine 52, it is particularly popular with children and first-time snorkellers. No diving licence required: a mask and snorkel are all you need.
Paddleboard: exploring the coves at your own pace
The paddleboard is the most accessible water toy on board. From age 6, you can paddle around the anchored boat, explore the edge of a cove or simply enjoy the calm of the Mediterranean from a standing position. Paddleboards are available on board the Med 42 and Med 52 among others, and can be added to most charters on request.
Water skiing and wakeboarding
Water skiing and wakeboarding are available on selected boats in the Octopussy fleet. These activities require a designated area away from the coves and swimming zones. The skipper manages the towing and ensures safety at all times. Suitable for children from age 8 and adults of all levels.
Which boat includes the most water toys?
The Numarine 52 is the most toy-loaded boat in the Octopussy fleet: Sublue Navbow underwater scooter, paddleboards, snorkelling kit, motorised tender and drone all come as standard.
